LMRoman fixed width Roman Font

Hopefully, this is LMRoman10 font. It looks like a fixed-width Roman font with ball terminals, like for "y" and "j" and "J". We'll see. That is what it looks like, even in seamonkey. I'll have to check in Chrome 6 and Firefox 3.0 to see if that is what I get. Why, I just want to jump up and down in July! January is nearer. The page looks just fine in the other browsers.

Digital image of Aug. 09, planet conjunction.

As reported on an earlier page 100809.html ,Triple Planet Conjunction, I saw this event and presented an image of the simulation from a planetariam program. Included here is the (poor) image I got from a digital camera I purchased that day. The CCD was barely sensitive enough to record the images, and I did not use a tripod, but the information is there. I cropped the original and labeled the objects with Gimp.

The image is pretty crappy, but the essentials are there. I had a film camera once, that would have easily imaged this with 400 ASA film and a bulb setting. Low-cost digital cameras are in many ways more capable than that thirty year old film camera, an Olympus OM-10, which was lost due to water damage, but a cable release and bulb setting is not one of them.
