These patterns were each generated from examples on the textarea demo site. This is based on Javascripts that implement zen coding and apply it within a textarea.
topEven though I am editing this in gnuemacs and will use its zen coding minor mode, I am not relying on it to do more than the most simple tag pairing. The Javascript implementation produces much more of the standard, at least on this system.
topThe skeleton of the table was generaed by "table+". I copied the td to make a second field.
topThis was in response to the story that Kotch Industries was spending money for Carley Firinio's US Senate bid to replace Barbara Boxer.
I have one word about Fiorina: "Print Cartridges", but seriously, BIG MONEY is for GOP, standing for "Greedy Oligarckic Plutocrats" is so blaitant now that the US Supreme Court, with its pack of Nixon and Bush appointees, has given a megaphone to Conservative Capitalist Business Interests of which the Crotch bunch is but an example. Oh, did I mention Meg Whitman? So the fix is in. Send 'em home in November.
If there is a problem with Special Interests and the Right blames unions for that, I'll counter that the REAL Special Interests, go count Lobbyists in Sacramento and Washington, are mostly from business and trade groups with Globalist backers. The GOP which used to be unblinking and unthinking patriotic now is suspect. You might think that the successors to Chairman Mao have more influence than does Thomas Jefferson, and despite the Tea Parties, the average Republican is more worried about his portfolio than either the future of this country or what some crackpots nipping at his heels say.
I hope the Tea Party'ers have some limited success and split the Reich Wing. Let them fight among themselves.

PG&E may be inviting the horror story of its shareholders by having to pay the real cost of mismanagement if the investigations of the San Bruno Gas Line Explosion come to the logical conslusion that false economies led the Utility to short-shift critical infrastructure maintenence which may cost it much more in regulator imposed remedies and in lost public trust that will hit its bottom line directly. There is poetic justice in that bad management decisions CAN cause companies to fail, and sooner as the priorities are closely examined, exactly the thing which those decision-makers would want to avoid. I am very much in favor of this happening, of choices made having inevitable consequences directly on the Bottom Line. Even the most Conservative Pro-Business advocate of Capitalist Power cannot argue with that, especially if their are no backroom bailouts.
