I am 63 today. Today has been quite icy, even though the sun is out, and tomorrow it is supposed to rain. The Winter Soltice will be at about 9:30 our time. It is seven years ago that I first went out with Sylvia Stephenson-Bryan, whom I did not know by her married name until later. I haven't seen her in six years, even though I know that she lives in Palo Alto.

I am creating this with another programmer's editor called tea-editor which looks reasonable. I notice that although it supports many markups, it doesn't know much about style save supporting a color wheel. That is certaintly the most difficult piece to manipulating style, but I also don't see any hooks for fonts.

My son, Nick, has called inviting me to dinner a Chilie's in Mountian View at 5 PM. I don't know if the others are comming. He is at Bobbi's. I already know that they will not be here for Christmas; they are going down to her family in LA. And we had one of the best, most animated, and most cordal visits I have ever had with Nick. I was really impressed.

I am not all that upset at having to spend Christmas alone owing to the mixed bag of having to do anything with family members. What am I missing? The opportunity to be abused?
