Today is Veteran's Day, the anniversary of the armistace that ended World War I in 1918, so today is the 90th anniversery of that event. The holiday was observd in American and known as Armistace day untl mid-20th centrury.
This applied a yellow color to this line of text. I don't know yet what object this is, whether this a paragrasph or not. It is the "p" object.
It looks like style is applied to the current instance of the object only. I just looked at the source and that appears to be the case. Many of these editors focus on the style of the instance rather than setting rules in the body style, which is the truely consistant way to do this.
I think that I just changed the font and background color for this paragraph.
