The idea of a blog here is going to change. I may or may not keep dated entries like a journal, but I don't like the index page and the items get dated too fast. I want to remove or recast some of the entries and write essays or sketches that are less related to current events. I am also settling on a style for the pages that is simple and attractive to me. I will refer you to a blog on a site for that where you can reply to me if you wish as I do not have a feedback mechanism here.
I haven't written here for a long time. It is not because I haven't been working on the projects for this site. The main reason is that I have been listening to complete collections of many musical works and haven't completely fornulated intelligent things I want to say about them. The works are the complete Mozart and Haydn Symphonies and the piano sonatas and the later piano trios of the latter. This all started in January when I found a set of the Mozart Symphonies. Then I got immersed in Haydn.
