The large redesign of my site is in production today. I broke the large
essay pages into several pages that should fit on one screen with mimimal
scrolling. I added the journal or blog pages in the same way.
The journal pages are now on the production site, linked with the index page of the
rest of my personal pages. Link maintenence is stil an issue. I could automate
it because the file names of the journal pages are given lexigraphically by
date, YYMMDD, and will naturally sort, but I haven't wired in the code to do
this.
I might change the "next" link from the top page to point to a more recent
page than the oldest page. I could also add a "last" link. I haven't settled
on a policy to consolidate or revise the older pages and the content wants to
change from technical ranblings to other things, but afterall a blog is meant
to be stream of conscousness but mindful of the audience.
