The design of these linked web pages continues. I renamed the perl script with the .pl extension and showed that my editor (emacs) can figure out that it is a perl script and set up hooks for editing that language source. I added comments to document with the script does and what it excepts from the imput text file.

Maintaining links is a big pain. I have to figure out how to name them and then edit the new file and the link that needs to be changed in the last file. I think that there is a way to name the files so that the link logic can be updated by a program, probably another perl script. This can be used to generate a TOC as well using the filename as a link with the Main Title as the content.

Using the date with some qualified part added could allow automatic listing of the link order to be achieved by a lexigraphic sort of the file names as in a directory list. File "050716" comes before '050719". I must check whether split files need to be fully qualified to keep sort. Will "050720" appear before "050720-1"?

Separated these source files from the HTML they generate.
